Sushi does not start

Asked by gingerbob

I have installed gnome-sushi and rebooted. I have tried selecting jpg, mp3, wav and mp2 files and pressing space but nothing happens. I looked at System Monitor and no sushi process is running. If I try to start sushi manually, I get the following:

==========================================
(sushi-start:3018): Clutter-CRITICAL **: Unable to initialize Clutter: Unable to find suitable fbconfig for the GLX context: Unable to find fbconfig with rgba visual
**
Cogl:ERROR:./cogl-xlib.c:67:cogl_xlib_set_display_EXP: assertion failed: (_cogl_xlib_display == NULL)
/usr/bin/sushi: line 15: 3018 Aborted /usr/lib/gnome-sushi/sushi-start
==========================================

I am using Ubuntu 11.10, kernel 3.0.0-14, GNOME 3.2.1.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - I used to make extensive use of previewing sounds by hovering the mouse over a file on Nautilus.

Thanks,

Gingerbob
