Gnome-shell freezes for browser windows

Every time I download any content from chromium based browsers like brave or chrome on Ubuntu 22.04 the browser freezes. This does not happen on 20.04. Firefox also fails to download entirely although the window doesn't freeze.

You can write 1 bug reports for the Chrome browser.
i.e. Chrome has a new update..

Is their something disrupting the Firefox download. leaving download page. etc..
Otherwise file a 2nd bug report for Firefox.

I was able to resolve this issue using

sudo apt install xdg-desktop-portal-gtk
