When will be applied the patch for the random crash of GJS on Ubuntu GNOME 17.04?

Asked by Eduardo Medina

Hi, there is a critical bug found in GNOME Shell 3.24 that affects Ubuntu GNOME 17.04. The patch is available since more than a week ago, but I don't see the patch in Proposal channel.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/1695720

I'm thinking to get the GJS package from Artful because it has a newer version, probably with the bug corrected.

The bug is extremely annoying, I can't work in peace. When will be applied the patch?

If there is a bug reported then you don't need a question too. Just add to the bug that it affects you too

I updated GJS to the 1.48.5 version taking the package from Artful. I hope to get a better functionality.
