Why the package is not on xenial repository?

Hey, I installed the version 60-1 and the 57-1 on the Ubuntu Xenial, works perfectly. So I would like to know why the package is not on the Xenial repository and how can I make it be their.

Ubuntu is no rolling release. New packages are normally not added to older Ubuntu releases after publication, but are only provided in newer Ubuntu releases.

For gnome-shell-extension-dashtodock in Xenial I can propose two options for you:
1. There is a PPA with a version for Xenial, see https://launchpad.net/~gnome-shell-extensions/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
2. You are welcome to create a bug report requesting that gnome-shell-extension-dashtodock be backported to xenial.
