session lasted less than 10 seconds and spews back to the login screen

Asked by roy

Hi all,

After reboot of my system of linux AS4,when trying to enter into a user am facing an error of ..."your session only lasted less than 10 seconds.if u have not logged out yourself ,this could mean that there is some installation problem or that you may be out of disk space.try logging in with one of the failsafe sessions to see if you can fix this problem
view details (~/.xsession-errors file)
Local user:root being added to access control list no profile for user 'root' found "

I tried with changing permissions for /tmp as
chmod 777 /tmp
chmod 777 /home/oracle as a root user
even though i am unable to enter as user,
when ever i try with root user as su - oracle (my username) am unable to enter it returns back to ]#

Plz help me in solving this bug,

Thanks in advance
Roy.
