workspace switching broken in 12.04 gnome classic
Hello,
I have been trying to fix this and it is driving me crazy, because nothing I do seems to have much effect on anything.
I have Ubuntu 12.04, recently upgraded stepwise from 11.04, am using compiz and gnome classic.
Workspace switching seems to be behaving very oddly:
1. No matter what I do, writing settings manaully included, the configuration window for the workspace switcher will always show number of workspaces as "1" after I relog or reboot. Note that writing the settings manually does affect how many workspaces are in fact accessible.
2. The "send to workspace" functionality in right click simply does not work
3. If I have windows on 3 or more workspaces they will eventually magically all be jumbled into workspace 1 while switching workspaces
#1 is a technicality, #2 is annoying and #3 is driving me nuts.
I figure this is either a bug I wouldn't know where to begin to report or a messup with my old settings from the upgrade. If the latter please tell me what to delete to reset my settings to normal.
Any help appreciated, though I have googled the problem thorroughly and none of the things I found helped...
LP,
Jure
