lock will switch to greeter while not display screensaver at Ubuntu18.04 when using lightdm

Asked by chenyu on 2018-05-15

Fresh install Ubuntu18.04, install lightdm, then select "Ubuntu" desktop.

At Lanuch pannel, click "Lock" icon, it will go to greeter screen, while not display screensaver lock window.

Is there a way to configure the Lock command to go to screensave lock window, just like Ubuntu 16.04. Thank you very much.

BTW, if I exeucte "gnome-screensaver-command -l" command, it will diplay gnome-screensaver window. Is it possible to configure the "Lock" to execte "gnome-screensaver-command -l" as expected?

Any help is appericiated.
