Ubuntu 11.04 Black screen after screensaver

Ubuntu 10.10 upgraded to 11.04 on a Lenovo G560 with Intel GMA [1]

I am running with the unity-desktop (Ubuntu selected on login).

Sometimes after the screensaver (-15 [2]) have been active, the screen is black, except the mouse is visible.
I have not been able to disable the screensaver just typing the password. If I kill the screensaver from a TTY terminal, then I can control the musicplayer (suppose other things also works), but still black screen with mouse.

If I kill compiz (-9 [2]) from a TTY terminal then I can see my background image, and after a short time the normal top/left launcher are shown.

I have seen the problem after the screensaver have started automically and been active for some time then I have seen the problem some times. Only the last time I found out how to do.

Forgot to say that i don't see the problem just after I have locked the computer. ... maybe the screensaver isn't the problem.

I have noticed a similar situation, I walk away from my system, and it is blank with a mouse cursor. I have noticed however, this usually happens with my Virtualbox OSE open running an os in the background (Tiny XP with 512Mb Ram in use).

i have virtualbox ose , open and running , it happens even after locking the screen.

and me too.
running 11.04. M/B has on board graphics.
have not observed precise conditions, but seems to be if screen saver has been activated for awhile (maybe 30 minutes or more?)

Same problem here: Ubuntu 12.04.1 - 64 bits - Radeon 5450.
This problem appear today out of nothing... I am obligated to completely disable the feature "Turn off screen..." under System Settings...
Going to TTY1 and kill the screensaver wasn't solve the problem, I did "sudo service lightdm stop ; sudo service lightdm start" to be able to use my PC again...
Only the mouse pointer is visible... I can see that in the middle of the screen, the "arrow" becomes a "cursor", showing to me that it is the field to type the unlock password but, even after that, the screen remains black (only mouse pointer is visible".
