how do I change time period before screen locks?

I want to increase the period of time that the computer can be left before the user's screen locks. I can't find the tool through the GUI for system administration and preferences and don't know where to start in the terminal

Hi! The option to change this is under Screensaver. You'll find it in System > Preferences.
You may want to increase the time which your computer is considered as idle.
