Ubuntu 9.10 Power Manager does not show on battery

I installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my laptop. When I go into Power Management, the on battery tab is not displayed.

Hello,

I think you can get around this by installing the Kpowersave utility that can be found in the Synaptic Package Manager.

This is running on my laptop with Ubuntu 9.10.
