Asked by Lozza on 2009-07-21

UE v2.2 is an impressive operating sys.!
but after hibinating won,t reboot because sys. files are damaged!!
how can they be restored because there,s no built in recovery system?
this has happened twice now, first time in suspend mode when laptop battery went flat!!
fsch. reports corrupt files but does,nt do anything!!

Press [Esc] at the very early start to get the boot-menu.
There select the "recovery" one and let it boot.
Then type:

     shutdown -r now

Might work for you...
