gnome power manager battery voltage

Asked by GodzillaNL on 2008-09-26

The update of the gnome-power-manager in Ubuntu Intrepid (2.24.0) causes extreme readings on my laptop. Previous version 2.23.93 had no problem.

Gnome power manager reports my battery voltage starting from 49 v to 450 v on a full battery charge. The same problem exists when working on battery where the power consumption is more like 80 watts than the normal 13 watts on my laptop. Powertop reports normal values.

Should this be a bug report?

Indeed, I have already created a bug report for this. I am not the only one having this problem.
