Suspend and hibernation do not work in Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop

I'm using gutsy now in Dell Inspiron 1501

Suspend and Hibernation don't work.

How can I report information for solve this problem?

What package relate this bug, What information needed ... etc.

Hi Mait, I'm not sure how helpful this will be to you but a few people I know have the inspiron 1501 and this site is held in very high regard by them http://ubuntu1501.blogspot.com/ also gutsy is in beta stages at the moment and is due out soon but there may still be a bug or 2 yet...

It is known that 'suspend and hibernation' do not work correctly with quite a number of laptops running linux in general I would recommend checking with the ubuntu laptop testing team https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam :)

Suspend and hibernation works well since today updates(2007/10/7).
