Why does the low power warrning have an optino for ok/cancle?

Asked by AJenbo

When my laptop runs low on battery it will come with one of two messages

"the computers battery is critically low
Battery level is critically low , and the computer will soon go in to hibernation."

This dialog has a Cancel and OK option. But there doesn't seams to be any difference what i chose and it is defiantly not clear what the difference should be from the text.
