root account? and Mount driver??

i cannot log in the root account !? So when i install Ubuntu i have 2 partitions , 1 is NTFS, 1 is Linux Ext3.
Two of these auto mount to media/hda5 and media/hda6.
Now i just read two these ones, and can't delete or create any files inside.

I see in Permission tab, the owner is root, and my account can't do anything.
But root account i can't log in
