Support for Enabling Panel Transparency Through Themes

Is it or will it be possible to enable panel transparency through the theme in the near future?

At the moment you can do it by right-clicking on the panel, selecting "Properties", going at the "Background" tab and setting up the second point (I don't know exactly the name it indicates because I'm using an Italian Gnome...).

Yah, right click to open up panel properties and then go tobackground
-> style and then change the transparency as you want
