how to show and put the Archive manager icon (file-roller) in toolbar...?

Asked by dsiddens

I want to have an icon to activate file roller displayed in my toolbar. "Archive Manager" is checked in Applications>Add/Remove>Accessories. Right now, it will open with the command line: "file-roller".

Please activate the file roller icon (file-roller is installed but the icon is usually not showed) using the menu:

System→Preferences→Main menu

Go to Accessories and on the right pane check "Archive Manager" then close the window

Now open Application → Accessories menu and right click on the "Archive Manager" and the select "Add this launcher to panel"

Tip: to move the toolbar icon click on a icon with middle mouse button and keeping the button pressed drag the icon.

Hope this helps
