well normally you just plug the VGA cable from the projector to the VGA output on the PC.
However if you want to be able to see it on your PC as well, then you will probably want a 'Video Splitter'. Allowing 2 monitors/displays to show the same thing. Which is probably what you want!

Hello !

With most cards, you should be able to just plug the VGA cable, and just reboot. The projector should be recognized as first screen, but you won't be able to see anything on your usual screen ...

You can find a clue on how to use multiple displays here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/NvidiaMultiMonitors

Keep posting if it doesn't help.

Regards,
Benoît

I am not entirely sure where video splitters can be obtained, but i have seen them around. It is often a little box with 3 VGA ports, 1 goes in, 2 go out

Can you help with this problem?
