shutdown panel applet gone

Asked by Daniel Brumbaugh-Keeney

I upgraded from Ubuntu Hardy to Ubuntu Intrepid. After I did this, I was prompted to try a fast-user-switching applet instead of the old shutdown/switch user/etc. applet. The new applet was supposed to work with IM-status or some such (I don't remember what it was named). After trying it, I decided I didn't like it, so I removed it from my panel. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to get the old applet back. For the mean time, I've found a basic shutdown applet which provides a choice of shutdown, hibernate, and sleep. I prefer the old applet better. It gave a choice of shutdown, hibernate, sleep, switch user, and log off all in one window, prompted by clicking the applet. I'm fairly confident it was the old ubuntu default shutdown applet. How do I get it back?

That would be the "basic shutdown applet" I referred to, but the shut-down and switch-user applets used to be combined, and I was hoping they could be again.
