'Filesystem' item has gone from the Places menu

The 'Filesystem' item in Places menu has gone without any reason as i clicked on it(i was using it before successfully), but it is still displayed in Nautilus (places), how comes and how to fix that?

This is controlled from the .gtk-bookmarks file in your home directory.

You can add the URI handler you want to show in the places menu into this file.

thank you for your reply, but it is not what i was asking for...

okey, one more time to make it clear: i do not want to add custom folders to the Places menu.

i just want to know:

1. why has the 'Filesystem' item gone from the places menu in gnome-panel and is still present in nautilus places menu?
2. how to add/remove items such as 'Computer', 'Desktop' and hard drives?
