Installing Firefox

I have downloaded firefox 1.5 to my desktop. How do I now install to my computer. I have Firefox 1.0.7 at present. I am very new to Ubuntu and Linux. Thanks John

Hi John,
The easiest way to install firefox is to use adapt and search for firefox.

Or using synaptic if you are using ubuntu instead of kubuntu like me!

Actually kubuntu has synaptic too. 1.5 isn't available via apt for breezy though I thought.

Alan Barnard, I confirm. IMHO, for the moment Automatix is the best and easiest way to install firefox 1.5 on breezy.
