Installing skype on Ubuntu 7.10

I have installed Skype but cannot get any sound.

Calls are connected but I cannot hear anything.

What can be done ?

Open Skype. Press the S button (bottom left)>Options>Sound Devices . I had to change Sound Out and Ringing to the options with "hw" in them.
