Interestingly if you open gconf-edit (ALT+F2 then type gconf-edit in the box then click Run) you can navigate to apps --> metacity and under window_keybindings there is activate_
Not sure what you can do about that.

Thanks Alan.
I changed <alt><space> to "disabled" and this does remove the
binding to <alt><rmc>.

I changed it to disabled which actually DOES help. Why this is so I don't
know.

Under gconf-editor in ubuntu you can go to apps --> metacity --> general
find the mouse_button_
Change it to disabled. This will solve the alt+right click problem.
The only problem is that you can't use the alt+left click which moves the window and the alt+middle click which resized it.
Personally I never use them so it works just fine.

P.S. I can play warcraft in wine now, without annoying window pop ups... yay! (in warcraft you use alt+rmc too much)
