How do I close Ubuntu? Exit Ubuntu? Close down computer?

Press the red button in the top right corner (if you haven't changed the layout). Hovering over the red button with your mouse will tell you more about what the button is for.

If your button is not there you could try to right-click somewhere on the gray aray (the whole bar where your menu and things like that are located, please remember to right click where there are no icons or menus!) and select the first choice in the popupmenu (should be Add or something).

There you should be able to chose and add the exit button (red button with a power symbol).

I do not have and buttons and right clicking is not working. Is there another way.

Are you using Unity interface (with application launcher at left) or Gnome interface (with one bar at top and one at bottom) ?
