just deleted Ubuntu Software Center from Main Menu, (oops) Now I want it back

Asked by Ben

you know how it goes, meant to hit [properties] but hit [Delete] instead...

on classic desktop i cant access USC at all, as there is no menu item
the issue is less prevalent in unity desktop, where i can still access USC, (by clicking on the reccomended programs) but it doesn't show on the launcher or bar

is there an undo button?

Click on top left Dash icon (black icon with Ubuntu logo)
search by type software-center
click on the software-vcenter icon and start it,
then right click on the software-center icon, left vertical icon and select keep in launcher

thanks

Actually I finally figured it out- the command for USC is "/usr/bin/software-center %u"

Thanks Marco for your help
