Laptop Battery Indicator Applet Problem

When I run Lucid Lynx (10.04) I have no problem knowing how much battery charge is left after a one click check. However, on Natty Narwhal (11.04) I have to do two clicks and the scroll down to get a reading of my battery charge. I see that Natty Narwhal is running Indicator Applet 0.4.12 while Lucid Lynx is running Indicator Applet 0.3.7. Is there a way to configure Indicator Applet 0.4.12 to give me a readout with just one click? If not, can I revert back to Indicator Applet 0.3.7 in Natty Narwhal?
