press CTRL+ALT+T and run:

nautilus -q

Does it help? You may also want to run:

metacity --replace

You will need to keep the terminal open while you work to sort the desktop out.

nothing happen when i press CTRL+ALT+T but i find terminal and still nothing happen , command not working.

I had this issue with an Nvidia card, but I'm not sure how I solved it.
1-boot on second line of boot menu (recover mode) and then fail safe X . Did you get the top/menu bar
2-download and activate proprietary driver
3-run gdmsetup and set (even if it still set) window manager to "Classical without effects"
4-System->Administration->Nvidia X server, and force rewriting of configuration
Finally reboot, and tell us if it works.

i dont have Nvidia,but i did fix everything,just swiched to classic without effect like u told me... everything is working!!! thank u very much!!! im not great with computers, i would never fix it without u . thank u very much!
