retrive my bottom bar and trash container

I am new to ubuntu 10.4 I accedently removed my bottom quick launch bar and trash can. How do I get it back.

To reset the GNOME panel to defaults, type this in a terminal:

gconftool --recursive-unset /apps/panel && killall gnome-panel

alternatively, you can right click on the top panel and click Add Panel to (bottom)
