gnome-panel not displayed on ubuntu 11.04

I have upgraded my ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04, and when I restarted my computer I couldn't see the top and bottom gnome-panel, everything else is working fine. I tried pressing alt+ F2, but its not working, I tried running gnome-panel command through terminal, but its not working, when I have logged I can see ubuntu classic so I logged into it and everything is working what shall I do to it so that I can have my panel
