I am using ubuntu Feisty, in which i installed 3ddesk package for 3-d desktop switcher. How can i add that application to panel instead of 2-d desktop switcher.

3d desktop is somewhat complicated to set up, and it doesn't integrate that well into the desktop environment anyway. May I suggest that you try Beryl or Compiz instead? Compiz should be easy to install, you just need to enable the "desktop effects" feature. You can then use the instructions on this website to enable the desktop cube: http://ubuntu-tutorials.com/2007/03/28/enabling-the-cube-in-feistys-desktop-effects/

Can you help with this problem?
