Panel crashed need help please

I am totally new to Linux and UBUNTU running the 10.4 version and have a serious problem I had dragged the top PANEL (bar) with all of the controls for PLACES, SYSTEM, APPLICATIONS etc... to the left and it went to the left vertical edge of laptop screen, and I was using TWO monitors.... my screen now only has a lower panel with no features and I need to know what to do please help!!!!!!
