How to add user name on the panel

By default, user name along with an encircled cross comes on the extreme right of the top panel, when you log in as a user. Since it was showing 02 user names on the right side on login. I deleted that, thinking i would able to add from the "Add to Panel" option. After searching extensively i am not able to put back name along with the encircled cross sign on the panel. How can this be added to Panel.

Switch user on launch pad has been tried. With that, as i mentioned only
User name comes, not the name thing, as it reflects when u open a new user
account. However, it came automatically for me when i logged on this time,
but the mystery remains. Thanks.

I think I know now what you need. Add the Indicator Applet Session to your panel. That should do it.
It took me some time to think about it, sorry. I don't use any panel. Only a dock.
