Install Problems

I am trying to install ubuntu for the first time off the live cd. When I go to install I can not get past language. I select my language and nothing happens. I tried toget my video to support over 640x480 but cant. I think the next button isnt showing up. I can not resize window to get to it.

I RECENTLY TRIED TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET USING THE FEATURES BUILT WITHIN THE UBUNTU OPERATING SOFTWARE.

CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THE INQUIRY AS I AM FACING MAJOR DIFFICULTIES WITH CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET.

ADSL MODEM USING NORMALLY WORKING OKAY WITH THE WINDOWS SOFTWARE OPERATING SYSTEM .

CAN'T CONFIGURE ADSL MODEM TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET.

The instructions on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ADSLPPPoE may help. If not create your own support ticket and include information as described at the bottom of the second link I've gave you.

Kosmo, you may be better off trying the alternate install cd at http://mirror.cs.umn.edu/ubuntu-releases/6.06/ubuntu-6.06-alternate-i386.iso
