i deleted the main unbuntu tool bar. how do i put it back

I was trying to close something on my tool bar.. was a chat program and accidentally my Main toolbar disappeared..
i've been trying to find it..but i dont know what its called or where to find it..
can someone help me to put the toolbar back?
this is the main toolbar for going to places, system etc..

Alt+F2, insert gnome-panel, hit [Enter] key.
Or if you have a bottom panel, right click on empty space -> add panel

To reset all your panels you can use the instructions from the !panels factoid in #ubuntu on Freenode

!panels
<ubottu> To reset the gnome panel to defaults, type this in a !terminal: « gconftool --recursive-unset /apps/panel && killall gnome-panel »
