My gnome-panels are blocking my window bars!! (dual monitor issue)

Asked by lianson

Ok, so here is a link of my problem: http://img139.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=85891_Screenshot_122_145lo.jpg

The red line is where my first screen stops and my second screen starts. I implemented dual monitors using NVidia's TwinView option.
Right below the red line, you can see that my window list panel is blocking the window bar of my banshee player.

If I move the window list panel to the bottom of the second screen, the problem is even worse, because the maximized banshee player thinks for some reason that there are about 500 more invisible pixels below the second screen, so I can't see my last ~300 songs... This "invisible extra pixels" phenomenon applies to ANY program. For example, if I run a google search maximized on the second screen, the last ~5 hits are off the bottom of the screen even though there is no scroll bar in sight.

Can anyone help me?
