I want to turn off window grouping on the task bar.

I want to turn off window grouping in the task list. I am running Ubuntu Dapper Drake. I searched online and was told to right click on the task bar and select properties and I would be able to turn it off from there, but I do not see an option for turning off grouping in that menu. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to right-click on the lask list's handle, immediately to the left of the first task list entry, a small region with little dots. Then select properties, and you can disable grouping in the middle of the window on the first tab.
