Hi,

if you're talking about the time zone selection during the graphical installer, the guide from https://help.ubuntu.com/community/GraphicalInstall mentions:

"Clicking once on the map zooms in so that you can more easily select a location. Alternatively clicking on the Selected City box below the map allows you to choose from a list of available options. The "Set Time..." button can be used enter the current time if the displayed time is still incorrect after you have selected a location. After the time is correct click on Forward."
