Does it happen for absolutely all icons? Also, do you see icons in the applications menu and do other programs work ok?

You can also try to create a new user, log in as the new user and look if the problem appears there, too.

Strange... perhaps libpng is broken when you last updated to Breezy.

Could you open a Terminal and try to view any PNG file with `display file.png` or similar?

If you upgrade to the latest packages and reboot. Does it fix the problem? Fixed it at one of our (test) terminal servers.

This was probably due to a librsvg bug which is fixed now

Hi paolo,

take a look at:

https://shipit.ubuntu.com/

As you have already signed up with launchpad, just log in there and enter your information. Although you might want to wait some more weeks until the new and shiny Dapper Drake will be ready for ordering :-)

Have fun with Ubuntu!

Michael
