ATHEROS AR8132 L1CGigabit Ethernet Adapter

I have installed successfully UBUNDU 9.10 and it works.
I have only one problem.
My Toshiba Satellite 6600 with now UBUNDU installed cannot go online, wireless, because it does not find the connection.
DO I need a specific driver?
I have a wireless adapter ATHEROS AR8132 L1CGigabit Ethernet Adapter installed and the second
Is a
NETWORK CONTROLLER REALTEC SEMICONDUCTOR.
DO you know what I have to do?

Hi! you can check if there are proprietary drivers available by clicking in (system->administration->hardware drivers) if there are any Ubuntu will install them for you. You'll need to be connected to the internet for this, so try using a wired network. If this doesn't work you could try with the last part of this https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/Atheros

I try to get a wire connection. BUT, I have also another windows notebook in my house, may I download it, copy it onto a CD and do the same work?

Yes, you can do it manually (as specified in the link I send you) BUT is always better to let Ubuntu do it for you, that way you ensure that the driver will auto upgrade every time the kernel does, and that the compilation process is correctly done (among other things...)
