I have installed ubuntu .I have connected to the network automatically but when I restart the PC network not connected

can you reboot and give the output of:

dmesg

Can you also run:

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

Then see if you get a connection.

Connecting via NM or /etc/network/interfaces? NM doesn't start networking until user logs in.
NM should have "Connect automatically" checkbox selected.
