I installed ubuntu 9.4 established wireless connection but I have reconnect every 5 min of idling even though it says connection active

network connections wireless network edit wireless security ( authentication ) changed from open system to shred key

hi,
I have a same problem, please help.
wants i opened wireless security there is no option to open system to shred key.
I can chose between:
 none
wep 40/128-bit key
WEP 128-BIT PASSPHRASE
WPA & WPA2 PERSONAL

I have no security on my wireless. It's connecting fine with ethernet cable.
