What happens when you reboot the computer, hit the left shift key early during the boot process to bring up the grub menu and then select the previous (5.15.0-73) kernel from the advanced options?

Do you then have a working network connection?

My assumption is that you are missing the linux-modules-extra-* package for the 5.19.0-* kernel.

If you run:

sudo modprobe ath9k

Does it work OK?

That was it - I downloaded and installed this, rebooted, then was able to enable enp3s0 and it is working now. Many thanks for the responses.

To make sure that this does not re-occur after the next kernel upgrade, you should make sure that you have the correct kernel-meta package installed. In your case most probably linux-generic-hwe-22.04
