My machine is Dell Inspiron 5537R

How does the wireless interface connect to the system? Is it USB or is it internal?

Shubham Kumar (shubhamkr305) said : #3

It's internal

If neither Windows nor Ubuntu can detect that device, then you should first check whether it is disabled.
This can be a setting in the BIOS, or a physical switch.
Another possibility could be a hardware defect.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Shubham Kumar for more information if necessary.
