Asus EeePC 1080 Wireless not working Lubuntu

Asked by mo gh on 2018-10-17

After installing latest version of Lubuntu, the wireless is not working on my Asus Eee PC 1018PB-WH801 notebook device. "Wifi Networks" and "Wifi is disabled" icons are unavailable in bottom task bar and function F2 key or the wireless key above keyboard which are both supposed to enable wireless do nothing when pressed.

Here is full terminal output of the diagnostics command recommended:

# This is a dynamic resolv.conf file for connecting local clients to the

# configured search domains.

# Run "systemd-resolve --status" to see details about the uplink DNS servers
