IP Blocking of unauthenticated people

I am using a broadband connection(intenet) via wired line. The router consists of four lan ports which are already shared among four of us. the router also consists a Wi-Fi port with the help of several unauthenticated people are accessing the internet, due to which speed becomes very slow. How could i block other people. I am using UBUNTU 8.04(linux).
