joining linux to win2003 domain

hi .. i need to join ubuntu 8 to win2003 domain network...

i configured the network same as the network environment as i belong "the ip ..the mask ..the gateway ..dns"
 and i need to knw how to configure the msn messenger.. step by step

you can use pidgin or kopete if you want to chat or do stuff using msn messenger.
rovide more details what u actually want.
the ip of bothe the systems must be same

Joining Ubuntu (or Linux at all) to an Active Directory domain can be a real pain. In my experience it depends a lot on the AD-domain and not so much on the Linux-installation.
