No, it didn't solve my problem. But using the information above, I was
able to determine that my wireless card is not going to be supported in
Linux, at least this version.

My card info is as follows:
chipset bcm4313
pci-ic 14e4:4727
kernal: wl

Apparently according to the Linux uplink, this particular card is not
supported.

Wish I could have gotten it to work. I would have loved to use Linux and
get away from Microsoft.

Your Terminal output shows 2 different issues that should both be solvable:

Issue 1)

Try b43.allhwsupport=1
[ 12.678838] b43: probe of bcma0:0 failed with error -524

I suggest the following solution procedure for issue 1:

1) run the following 4 commands in a Terminal using a working, WIRED, Internet connection:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

sudo apt-get remove b43-fwcutter firmware-b43-installer

sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source

2) blacklist the b43 driver in the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file by adding this configuration line:

blacklist b43

You can edit the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf using this command:

sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

After editing the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file, make sure to save the change.

3) access the homepage of the wireless router using a web browser and using a wired Internet connection (using a LAN cable) and force the wireless router to use Wireless-G (54 Mbps) transmission speeds

Issue 2)

0: phy0: Wireless LAN
 Soft blocked: no
 Hard blocked: yes

So your wireless card is disabled by a hardware switch, a
special key combination (Fn-F2, etc...), by incorrect BIOS settings for
wireless, or a combination of these factors...

There might also be a BIOS option that allows you to have the wireless
functionality controlled "By application"

Search for the "by application" option in the BIOS and select it (if
possible)....

In the BIOS, verify that wireless is enabled.

Then, in the BIOS, perform a factory reset (in the BIOS).

Hopefully, this will enable the wireless again.

Also run the following 2 Terminal commands to try to change the rfkill
state of your wireless chipset:

rfkill unblock all

sudo rfkill unblock all

Then retest wireless.

If that does not help, then I suggest blacklisting the dell_wmi kernel
module.

First run this command:

sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Using the gedit editor, scroll down and add the following configuration
line:

blacklist dell_wmi

Save the change to the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf configuration
file.

Then REBOOT your PC and retest wireless.

Furthermore, according to

https://wikidevi.com/wiki/User:X64/Linux_kernel_wireless_device_support

your wireless adapter (PCI_14e4_4727) is supported by the bcma wireless driver since Linux kernel version 3.2 (since 2012).

That is why I suggested blacklisting (=disabling) the b43 driver, because the b43 driver is the wrong driver in this case and conflicting with the correct bcma driver.....
