wifi is disabled by hardwae switch, Ubuntu 14.04

Dear all,
Since yesterday, I am not able to connect to the wifi. The OS is ubuntu 14.04 on DELL Latitude laptop.
I followed some diagnosis suggested in different sites, did not work either.

I would appreciate the help. Please let me know what information I need to provide.

What is the output of:

sudo lshw -C network; lsb_release -a; uname -a; sudo rfkill list
