If you are running a 32bit install, then the linux-firmware-nonfree package does seem to be missing all the b43 firmware. I cannot tell from what you wrote if you have a /lib/firmware/b43 directory, and if you can see its contents. A 64 bit install should have the proper b43 firmware installed when the linux-firmware-nonfree package is installed. In a pinch, if you are on a 32 bit system, try installing the linux-firmware-nonfree:amd64 package (not sure about the amd64 to designate a 64 bit package). The firmware should work on a 32 bit system.

Can you help with this problem?
