TP-LINK TL-WN722N USB WIRELESS ADAPTER does install on ubuntu 10.04

I´m trying to conect to internet via TP-LINK TL-WN722N USB Wireless connection but it´s not working.
My SO is Ubuntu 10.04.
Please can you help-me?

Your version of Ubuntu (10.04) is only supported for server. The desktop support stopped a year ago.
You should update to a more recent Ubuntu 12.04 or 14.04) supported until 2017 and 2019.
you system seams to be a bit older, So it might be a good idea to check the system requirements first.
